Stonetrust offers workers' compensation coverage and services to more than 5,000 policyholders in Louisiana and eleven other states in the midwest and southeastern regions of the United States and will be expanding its coverage area into North and South Carolina later this year. AM Best indicated that the rating upgrade reflected Stonetrust's very strong balance sheet strength, and operating performance highlighted by five consecutive years of positive income in each area.
